Crane Beach Day

Something fun I did over the weekend with my in-laws was have a nice beach day. We went to Crane Beach, MA. I would highly recommend it!

I was at first a little skeptical about bringing a five week old to the beach, but once we whipped out the BOB stroller, everything was great.

Claire just hung out in the stroller and didn’t get any sun thanks to the giant sun shade. It also goes through sand surprisingly well!

The beach was one of the nicest ones I’ve been to in Massachusetts. It wasn’t overly rocky. The sand was very soft. And hardly anyone was there!

I think this beach does get very busy in the summers though. It was only $10 to park too, but has since gone up to $25 since it’s summer season now.

We parked our stuff in a nice spot and then just walked and walked.

Claire was a happy camper the whole day.

There is also a manor right next to the beach, aka a huge mansion and beautiful grounds.

Crane Manor

It was built in the ’20s, I believe. There was a huge garden that overlooked the ocean. It was really neat to see.

It was a fun beach day, but it definitely wasn’t hang-out-in-your-bikini kind of weather. It got really windy at the end of the afternoon, blowing sand everywhere so we left a little early.
